This page, new on May 4, ‘17, is intended to be a portfolio of my magazine designs.
So here is the DZ, newest first:
Via Adobe CreativeCloud
Die Zeitung is composited using Adobe InDesign CC 2018. Or whatever the current year : )
And here, via your browsers default…
Okay so… I posted the first issue before as a blog post that was an embed from my Adobe CC account. That looked pretty sporty, as you’d expect from those volk. They have been blowing my mind of late with what the new versions can do compared to when my using CS3 until just recently when my lovely custom hand-made Boxx finally could take my shenanigans no longer. But now I have a lovely not handmade (but built well) Alienware 15 R2 Sig Ed. It’s… alien… and very fast.
….technical difficulties…Preceded by number 1. It had been solong since I had done any print work. I felt so rusty and seriously Ludditical at times. Still getting up to speed but the print and video worlds are still quite similar (but much more power-packed) unlike the web which changes completely every few minutes.
But it happened and only a couple of horrificly horrible mistakes made it through. Which was a bummer because as it turns out it was the very last printed DZ…ironic that I should have been the compositor because I was the one who put it into a magazine format to begin with. Sigh.
But it’s alive, just lives online and I do it as if it were print anyway, because I can. Eh. Note, gave up on that for the new one. It is not ever going to print. Tragic.
And more to follow.
I am liking the idea of doing my own. But LOL, really. Hey, maybe.
Peace
