Jun 25, 2021On June 23, 2021, the China National Space Administration (CNSA) on Friday released images that were taken by the country’s Zhurong Mars rover. The images show the landing site panorama, the rover’s heat shield and parachute pack, Martian topography and landforms, the landing platform, and a selfie of the rover itself with the landing platform. The release of the first scientific images marks a complete success of China’s first Mars exploration mission.

A Dillingham pilot says he spotted the creature while flying passengers to Manokotak last week. He calculated that its wingspan matched the length of a wing on his Cessna 207. That’s about 14 feet.
