Before Scuderia Ferrari were able to build their own cars, the team ran the wonderful cars of nearby Milano’s Alfa Romeo. There’s one just above! “Scuderia” is Italian for “stable,” which is naturally most appropriate for the now legendary and iconic Prancing Horse avatar above the perhaps equally iconic SF initials of the team.
Nowadays, Scuderia Ferrari S.p.A. is it’s own fully charged division of the Ferrari automobile company. It must be awesome to work there. It must be awesome to live on their street!
And here he is! Our wonderful, glorious Hero, Il Commendatore, Enzo Anselmo Ferrari, Cavaliere di Gran Croce OMRI. (February 18, 1898 to August 14, 1988, both in Modena, Italia)
