This was a real ad! No, really.

I’m told it was short-lived.

Lol, I bet!

But, isn’t it wonderful?

Skylar’s BMW 2002ti || 4K

Mudda Media
Published on Jun 29, 2018

Here is my friends clean BMW 2002ti! This car is so mint. Him and I were planning to film for a long time, he had forged wheels before this but something happened and unfortunately he couldn’t have them on for the video but either way the car looks amazing. Please let me know what you think about it!

Nice. Lovely ti. Dual sidedrafts, eh. As for the wheels, I like Minilites, best of all, usually.

Gérard Larousse and Willi Kauhsen pilot a lovely Porsche 917LH at Le Mans in 1970.

The other LH was entered by Martini Racing, qualified by Willy Kauhsen and Gérard Larrousse on 12th position. The spectacular livery of this car was elaborate whirls and swoops of light green on a dark blue background. The car with the 4.5L engine gained the nickname of the Hippie Car or the Psychedelic Porsche from the team and media.

alfa sz

Up Close And Personal With A Most Dramatic Alfa Romeo

Story and Photography by Davide Cironi

This is probably the most dramatic design Alfa Romeo has ever had; only Zagato could imagine such lines. Project ES-30 (Experimental Sportscar 3.0-liter) was based on the very fast and mean 75 IMSA. Developed (mainly its suspension) by the recently deceased Giorgio Pianta, the man behind Abarth Racing and Alfa Corse, the SZ, Delta S4, 155 DTM, and others were built under his wing. He was the one yelling in the box when Alessandro Nannini was about to kill Roland Asch for his deliberate contact at Singen 1994—go find my interview to the Italian driver.

So: a pure, terrific, disputable design matched perfectly with mechanical components set up by racers. That means Turbo Evoluzione brakes, bigger wheels, thermoplastic body, and a bit of “encouragement” to bring the 3.0-liter Busso engine up to 210 horsepower.

My eyes must take their time to accept this eccentric monster every time I’m lucky to meet one. I feel like being in front of some abstract art: the SZ is something you’re unable to understand immediately. After a minute, or ten, I start seeing its pureness. Hate or love it, the SZ is maybe the best-driving car Alfa Romeo built, from the very first up to the Giulia GTA and even the new 4C. With its looks as they are, it’s not a design exercise for museums, at all—but one for driving!

70 Grabber 442

It’s True: Guys Raced Muscle Cars At The Baja 1000, And Jim Garner Was Among ‘Em. Ride Along In His Recently Restored Olds 442.

James Garner—then known mostly for Maverick, as this was before The Rockford Files—was an avid racer in the late ’60s, and he even had his own fab shop, American International Racers, building cars for Daytona, Sebring, and the like. He was also an off-road racer from the start and even fabbed the famous fleet of AMC Ramblers that ran in the ’69 Baja 500. In the ’69 Mexican 1000, Garner piloted the ’70 Grabber 442, which was one of three preproduction cars built by off-road guru Vic Hickey, who had also created the Hurst Baja Boot, among many others. The Olds seems an unusual choice once you realize the project was not factory backed, but it has been assumed that it may have been influenced by Hickey’s alliance with George Hurst, who was tight with Olds.

my grandpa 1917

An interesting little tanklette from WWI. This pic has a title of “my grandpa 1917,” which I think is so nice.

Love the wheels!

I wonder about grandpa’s head stickin’ out like that, though. Seems rather dodgy.

I would just love to see a film of this thing in action. I am trying to imagine how it would move and how quick it might be, as it looks rather tippy.
