Bright Surprise at the Horizon: Sol 130 dust event over whole mountain range
It’s barely visible, but the whole mountain range at the horizon brightened for about 30 seconds.
Real time between frames was 15 seconds, taken near local noon. The horizontal field of view is 23°, full width of the WATSON camera, distance to the mountain range with the brightening effect is in my estimation about 3km which means the image spans about 1km there.
On the right you see 2 normal size dust devil in the last frame.
